The Story
Rhum Barbancourt has been produced in Haiti since 1862, following an ancestral family tradition and a unique craftsmanship passed on in the Gardère Family for over 160 years.
The Special Reserve, elaborated from pure sugar cane juice, distilled and aged in French oak barrels for 8 years, offers a bright gold color with copper highlights. The nose reveals the fusion of toasted wooden notes with intense vanilla for a long and smooth finish. This golden rum is best consumed on the rocks or neat.
