The Story

100% Sauvignon Blanc

This high altitude white displays acidity, savory notes and citrus tones in great balance with elegance and magnificent persistence. White peach, mango and herbs. Delicate, pleasantly acidic, warm, with an elegant and refreshing finish.

"Lame del Sorbo" vineyards are located at 650 meters above the see level. The soil, the altitude, the temperature excursion and the wind breeze are some factors that might just give VINICA the ideal terroir for Sauvignon Blanc.

Viticulture is strictly organic. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel vats starting with only the yeast present in hand-picked grapes. A long period of refinement gives great complexity and deep flavor, with a persistent finish. Not clarified nor filtered.

The name of the wine has origin from a secular Sorbo tree that dominates on the vineyards situated on the Ripalimosani hill, named "Lame".
