The Story
The only white Aloxe-Corton made with 100% Pinot Gris (called “Pinot Beurot” in Burgundy). This wine has a very long persistence on the palate, slightly acidic, and is well-balanced and full of finesse.
This wine is unique, round, and full of exotic fruit aromas, boasting a long finish on the palate with great ageing potential.
Ages for 16 months in oak barrels (50% new).
Lorraine Senard, 6th generation of the family, succeeded her father Philippe in 2005. Drawing inspiration from previous generations, she has honed her winemaking skills to preserve the “Spirit of Corton.”
