Cadenhead "Tamnavulin-Glenlivet" 14 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750ml

Tamnavulin, from Tomnavoulin, Ballindalloch, Banffshire, is one of the many distilleries built in the boom period of the 1960s to keep up with the public interest. This Speyside whisky is sweet and zesty with lots of fruity notes such as pineapple, grapefruit and banana through most of the dram — but the finish is more mellow and provides a calming, smooth end to the experience.

Nose: Stone fruits, syrup, pineapple, peach, grapefruit.
Flavor: Lemon zest, banana fritter, caramel sauce, creamy with a suitable tanginess.
Finish: Fermented fruits, flat cola, dime bars, bourbon biscuit.
