The Story
A 100% Malvasia from podere Pradarolo, the estate of Alberto and Claudia Carretti in Emilia Romagna. The Carrettis make wine the old fashioned way, with long macerations and aging periods. Vej is grown in the Parma hills on clay-like soil with a low limestone content, and is bottled after a 210 day maceration without filtration or any additives.
The wine is distinctly amber in color, with typical flora Malvasia aromatics and a delicious, full body with pronounced tannins.
